Center for Corporate governance aims to advance understanding and practice of corporate governance

The Vuka Trade and Enterprise Development Agency Centre for Corporate Governance (“the Centre”) is an in-house centre established in January 2020 to enhance corporate governance so as to achieve business excellence.

The Centre aims to advance understanding and practice of corporate governance with the goal of positively impacting and improving corporate governance within the Vuka Trade and Enterprise Development Agency and its Shareholder Companies.

The Centre currently has four focus areas namely:

    • Assist investee companies with implementation of recommendations emanating from Corporate Governance

    • Driving Ethical
    • Awareness and monitor ethics
    • Declaration of Gifts and Outside interests
    • Custodian of the Code of Ethics
